The Role:

Drive Yello is currently seeking a part-time intern to assist the NSW Community Manager with daily operations, Driver communication, social media engagement and on-boarding.

The Yello Driver Community is the team that manages over 5,000 contractors, facilitates on-boarding as well as maintaining Driver compliance and representation to the company and stakeholders.

Every day presents a different challenge, so the right candidate will be keen to learn and enjoy problem solving. You may have a background in technology or business, but a more thorough appreciation of HR, Community management and fostering ethical workplace culture is desirable.

“Sally is a Yello Driver who’s been contracted to a shift at Chris’ Pizza Joint.
Sally arrives on time and is given her first order to deliver.

Arriving at the customers address, she realises the store has given her the incorrect address. Sally returns to the store and explains the situation.

The Manager berates Sally for taking the wrong order and now customers are complaining since it will take another 30mins to cook & deliver two more orders.

Sally blames the Manager for giving her the incorrect order & argues that she “won’t be spoken to like that”. Sally leaves the store in the middle of rush hour, goes home and writes a negative review about the Store online”.
